Potomac State College, WV:

Officers served an arrest warrant for destruction of property at the Campus Police office, following an investigation of the discharge of a fire extinguisher at the laundry room in Davis Hall. The incident occurred on August 30. The subject was indentified as Joshua A. Lusk, 19, of Princeton, W.Va.

A Pittsfield MA. Friendly's Ice Cream restaurant was saved from fire from both a range-hood system and portable extinguishers.

A fire that started in a kitchen area damaged Friendly's Restaurant at 835 Dalton Ave. yesterday, Deputy Fire Chief Robert Czerwinski said.

Support for this education and promotion resource is an important part of the fire safety community. We whole heartledly endorse their efforts to save lives.  Fire codes must be followed.
